Since its foundation by Trevor Helliwell in 1988, Prestigious Textiles has carved out a reputation for providing stylish, high-quality and industry-leading interior fabrics. Built on a foundation of family values and Yorkshire pride, we offer reliable, personable service with a flair for design.
The brand has remained firmly within the family, now being directed by Trevor’s son and daughter, Matthew and Nicola. We are the product of generational expertise, underpinned by a passion for fabric. We strive for excellence, yet we don’t take ourselves too seriously. Throughout our 70,000 SQ. FT headquarters in Bradford, West Yorkshire, we distribute up to 120,000 metres of cut lengths, and 19,000 samples, a month.
Over the years, PT has become an international operation. Our network of stockists and trading partners throughout Europe, China and South Africa ensure PT fabric is at the heart of homes worldwide.

The business was founded by Trevor alongside Matthew and a small team of four.
Nicola joined the family business as Marketing Manager.
Several partnerships were introduced with PT offices opening internationally.
Styleline Blinds was established.
PT Wallpaper was introduced.
PT China was set up with an office and showroom.
An automated cut length system was installed. HQ is now an integrated 70,000ft2 facility.
The PT team grew to over 100 staff members.
Styleline Blinds was fully acquired by Prestigious Textiles and was established as PT Blinds. PT Contract was introduced.
Another warehouse for PT Blinds was opened.
Celebrated 35 years of PT during Family Business Week.
PT Blinds moved into PT HQ in January 2026, bringing both brands together.
